FromPSQLDate Method

Convert the DataTime value to an integer value.

Syntax

public static int FromPSQLDate( 
   Nullable<DateTime> inDate,
   int resultLength
)

Parameters

inDate: Pass in the DateTime value to convert.
resultLength: Pass in a vlaue indicating the size of the resulting date value to return. Possible values are8, 6 and 5.

Return Value

An integer value representing the date YYYYMMDD, YYMMDD or YYJJJ format. Any expcetions encountered will be recorded in the Symphony Event Log.

These methods are designed to be used by the Symphony.dB.SQLDispatcher class and not from user code.

Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
