OpenUpdate Method

Open the database table for read/write mode.

Syntax

public DBResponse OpenUpdate( 
   out int channel
)

Parameters

channel: The channel number. A zero channel number will allocate a channel number

Return Value

Returns a value indicating the status of the call.

Remarks

The database table will be accessed in read/write mode and full managment of the data is possible.

Int32 chan;
Symphony.dB.DBAccess itemAccess = new DBAccess("ITEM", "DATABASE:DatabaseManager");
DBResponse status = itemAccess.OpenUpdate(out chan);

Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
