MoveStringToInt64 Method

Takes the string "record" area and returns the required portion as a Integer.

Syntax

public static long MoveStringToInt64( 
   string fieldIdentifier,
   string stringValue,
   int startPos,
   int length,
   InputNumericFormat format
)

Parameters

fieldIdentifier: Field identifier - use for error logging purposes.
stringValue
startPos
length
format: Date format of the inbound data area to convert.

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
